Spectators: 7459 (Terracing: 5595, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Burak Özdoğan started the match with the kick off. 7 minutes into the match, Paralia Athens's goal looked a bit too open when Hubert Wallmark came free, but Doru Apostu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paralia Athens's Doru Apostu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Paralia Athens from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Hubert Wallmark kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Doru Apostu. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. The long shot by Juvenal da Rocha in the 19th minute really tested Doru Apostu's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 22nd minute Hubert Wallmark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doru Apostu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Burak Özdoğan got free with Doru Apostu in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Paralia Athens's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sílvio Luiz Tasso was slow to take the kick. During this time Sandinense ADF's players had a chance to rest. After some careless play in the Sandinense ADF defense, Leonard Chirculescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Breno Costa. The Sandinense ADF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Breno Costa should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Sandinense ADF getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Sanderson Cabeleira hit a great ball. In the 37th minute of the match, Burak Özdoğan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Doru Apostu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, Paralia Athens's Doru Apostu got control of the ball when Burak Özdoğan tried to sneak it across the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonard Chirculescu made a kick off. Doru Apostu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juvenal da Rocha in the 55th minute of play. Betinho Figueiredo charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Betinho Figueiredo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 56 minutes into the game, one of Sandinense ADF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 59 minutes into the game, Mircea Robu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paralia Athens's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sandinense ADF the free kick. A collision led to Paralia Athens getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Mircea Robu hit a great ball. Juvenal da Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Paralia Athens's zone, Hubert Wallmark stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doru Apostu came out of the goal and Hubert Wallmark tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Doru Apostu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hubert Wallmark, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 77th minute, Costel Neagoe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute of the match Sílvio Luiz Tasso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Doru Apostu skillfully saved the ball. In the 79th match minute, Paralia Athens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorel Găman to maneuver through the defense. Paralia Athens's Doru Apostu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Burak Özdoğan in the 81st minute of play. Doru Apostu came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Sandinense ADF's Juvenal da Rocha. But to his dismay, Juvenal da Rocha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Doru Apostu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hubert Wallmark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sandinense ADF had played much better football throughout.
