The audience thought a goal was coming when Rasmus Højlund got free with Bunda Lele in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernardinho Alagoano hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Bunda Lele made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Azar Azarov sent off a good shot on target. After 44 played minutes Remedios SC got a freekick which was hit by Eliseu Montenegro. Remedios SC's Bunda Lele proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Remedios SC from getting a goal against them. Loures's Nicolas Vilalobos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 楚庭潮 in the 48th minute of play.

Remedios SC's Kaká Moraes got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bunda Lele was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Loures's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
