Spectators: 7495 (Terracing: 5622, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Michael Weniger took the kick off in the first half of the match. 15 minutes into the game, West Staines Massive's Michael Weniger nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nilmar Brasil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 17th minute Michael Weniger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilmar Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sören Terwester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Nilmar Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22ndth minute of the game Cléberson Mendonça who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but West Staines Massive's Calvin Kuckhoff was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 23 played minutes West Staines Massive got a freekick which was hit by Michael Weniger. Alex Gibson hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Weniger in the 31st minute of play forced Clapham Rovers's goalkeeper Nilmar Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nilmar Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Weniger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Justino Arixo's late challenge caught a West Staines Massive's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justino Arixo helped the player get up and apologised. Jürgen Sander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilmar Brasil having to interfere. When West Staines Massive's Michael Weniger in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Clapham Rovers's goalie prevented a goal. Sören Terwester blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nilmar Brasil having to make a save. West Staines Massive's Calvin Kuckhoff proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save West Staines Massive from getting a goal against them. Clapham Rovers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gavin Sedgemore in the 47th minute. The corner led Clapham Rovers's Gavin Sedgemore to fire away a dangerous shot which Calvin Kuckhoff despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cléberson Mendonça to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Clapham Rovers getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Alex Gibson hit a great ball. 55 minutes into the match, Michael Weniger notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Clapham Rovers's Nilmar Brasil. Nilmar Brasil was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 59th minute, João Francisco Toscano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sören Terwester in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nilmar Brasil saved Clapham Rovers from getting behind. Erling Beier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Justino Arixo hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Gavin Sedgemore's late challenge caught a West Staines Massive's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gavin Sedgemore helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Clapham Rovers getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Gavin Sedgemore hit a great ball. Sören Terwester struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Nilmar Brasil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for West Staines Massive. Calvin Kuckhoff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Francisco Toscano, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. When Wayne Longden fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clapham Rovers's protests and gave Wayne Longden a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of West Staines Massive booed when Clapham Rovers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wayne Longden didn't get a good kick on the ball. Calvin Kuckhoff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cléberson Mendonça in the 84th minute of the match. Alex Gibson kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Charles Booth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michael Weniger took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nilmar Brasil. Clapham Rovers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Michael Weniger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nilmar Brasil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. West Staines Massive's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
