The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute of the game Witomir Pryla made a throw-in which Cordareo Domingo played forward. 5 minutes into the match, Manly FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacy Czekaj came free, but Duncan Mcinnes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th match minute, Afrykańskie Świnie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrzej Pliszka to maneuver through the defense. Manly FC's Duncan Mcinnes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bryan Nightingale in the 8th minute of play. With a little luck, Afrykańskie Świnie's Wladyslaw Hajto got control of the ball when John Aldridge tried to sneak it across the goal line. Duncan Mcinnes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Bărbânță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wladyslaw Hajto made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when John Aldridge sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Fernando Rogel put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Duncan Mcinnes. In the 23rd minute Emanuel Bărbânță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duncan Mcinnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Duncan Mcinnes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Bărbânță in the 23rd minute of play. After 25 minutes Manly FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emanuel Bărbânță who took care of the corner kick. 26 minutes into the match, Manly FC's John Aldridge sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wladyslaw Hajto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zbigniew Chazen hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute of the match, John Aldridge got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wladyslaw Hajto was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. John Aldridge could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Wladyslaw Hajto made a huge save. Duncan Mcinnes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bryan Nightingale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Manly FC defense, Bryan Nightingale kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Duncan Mcinnes. The Manly FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Duncan Mcinnes should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Manly FC's Duncan Mcinnes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Manly FC from getting a goal against them. In the 66th minute, Bryan Nightingale ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Duncan Mcinnes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryan Nightingale in the 69th minute of play forced Manly FC's goalkeeper Duncan Mcinnes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manly FC's Mo Salah got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rdth minute of the game John Aldridge who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Afrykańskie Świnie's Wladyslaw Hajto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 75 minutes into the game, Witomir Pryla threw the ball into play from the sideline. Manly FC's Clifford Hamilton quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 78th minute, Witomir Pryla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manly FC made a substitution. Robbie Fowler replaced John Aldridge. The supporters of Manly FC booed when Afrykańskie Świnie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witomir Pryla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robbie Fowler struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Wladyslaw Hajto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manly FC. Afrykańskie Świnie's Wladyslaw Hajto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mo Salah in the 86th minute of play. Robbie Fowler might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wladyslaw Hajto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robbie Fowler ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 88th match minute, Afrykańskie Świnie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Rogel to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the match, Manly FC's goalkeeper Duncan Mcinnes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Rogel. The audience was convinced that Robbie Fowler's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wladyslaw Hajto was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. The Manly FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Afrykańskie Świnie's performance. The match ended with a win for Afrykańskie Świnie.
