Youri Maguet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Aldridge in the 11th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, klide13's Luís Paulo Matorin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ray Clemence narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 16th minute, klide13's Luís Paulo Matorin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. A collision led to klide13 getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Chris Kuster hit a great ball. klide13's Youri Maguet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Aldridge in the 21st minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Manly FC's John Aldridge nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Youri Maguet made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The supporters of klide13 booed when Manly FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mo Salah didn't get a good kick on the ball. Youri Maguet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Aldridge, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 32nd match minute, Manly FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fleming Wal to maneuver through the defense. If John Aldridge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 37 minutes, Fleming Wal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manly FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fleming Wal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ray Clemence made an important save on a dangerous shot by He Gang Jian in the 39th minute. After 43 played minutes Manly FC got a freekick which was hit by Jasmine Kaine. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell John Aldridge to make the kick off. Clifford Hamilton kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustave Rat in the 59th minute of play forced Manly FC's goalkeeper Ray Clemence to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute klide13 were awarded a corner. Louis Tomlinson went to the cornerflag to take it. When Jasmine Kaine fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manly FC's protests and gave Jasmine Kaine a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th minute, Jasmine Kaine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ray Clemence showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustave Rat in the 67th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, John Aldridge took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Youri Maguet to make any attempt to save it. Youri Maguet made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when John Aldridge sent off a good shot on target. Manly FC's Robbie Fowler was substituted for John Aldridge. Robbie Fowler's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Youri Maguet skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Duke Carnduff hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. With his leg Youri Maguet managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Manly FC's Robbie Fowler fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to klide13 getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Joe Plantin hit a great ball. Ray Clemence took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from He Gang Jian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robbie Fowler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manly FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
