Riccardo Hofer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Elequemedo in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute, Adrian Kuse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Riccardo Hofer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Romildo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Bora Bora booed when Defensores de Mar de Ajó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Honrio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Gogo Elequemedo got a free kick in the 59th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gogo Elequemedo in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Riccardo Hofer saved Bora Bora from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cesar Romildo got free with Riccardo Hofer in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robin Mager in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kleopas Plouffe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Riccardo Hofer successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gogo Elequemedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th match minute, Defensores de Mar de Ajó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Aznar to maneuver through the defense. Kleopas Plouffe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Kuse in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Aznar in the 95th minute of play forced Bora Bora's goalkeeper Riccardo Hofer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Alberto Aznar managed to work through Bora Bora's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Alberto Aznar dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The Bora Bora supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Defensores de Mar de Ajó's performance. The match ended with a win for Defensores de Mar de Ajó.
