A collision led to Rasnita getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Gigel Uncheşu hit a great ball. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Albertus FC's goalkeeper Ted Stroobos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Rasnita's Alex Cunea slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ted Stroobos. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. 15 minutes into the game, Alex Cunea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ted Stroobos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 19 minutes, Gigel Apăvăloaie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rasnita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gigel Apăvăloaie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Gigel Apăvăloaie took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Ted Stroobos to make any attempt to save it. Alex Cunea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ted Stroobos was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Sebastian Toacsen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sebastian Toacsen really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. After 40 minutes, Cristo Guzman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Albertus FC and the Rasnita players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th match minute, Albertus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristo Guzman to maneuver through the defense. Alex Cunea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alex Cunea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Toacsen in the 54th minute of play forced Albertus FC's goalkeeper Ted Stroobos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alex Cunea might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ted Stroobos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alex Cunea ran back to his position shaking his head. Ted Stroobos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigel Apăvăloaie in the 57th minute of the match. Albertus FC's Ted Stroobos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Cunea in the 61st minute of play. In the 65th minute, Alex Cunea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rasnita's Gigel Apăvăloaie got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Cunea in the 71st minute of play forced Albertus FC's goalkeeper Ted Stroobos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Alex Cunea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ted Stroobos was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Ted Stroobos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alex Cunea went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Sebastian Toacsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Rasnita booed when Albertus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristo Guzman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gijsbert Bults hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. The Rasnita support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
