Henry Tolsson made a great header on Boomerang Bombers's corner, it was just that Atlético Rio Cuarto's Bernardino Dimas managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 8th minute Boomerang Bombers were awarded a corner. Henry Tolsson went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelino Inautzi got free with Carl Askelöf in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Angelino Inautzi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Carl Askelöf when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Atlético Rio Cuarto getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Donato Suarez hit a great ball. Henry Tolsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardino Dimas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelino Inautzi got free with Carl Askelöf in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Boomerang Bombers's Dag Jonsson got a free kick in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Eduardo da Silveira in the 27th minute of play forced Boomerang Bombers's goalkeeper Carl Askelöf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atlético Rio Cuarto's Carlos Eduardo da Silveira quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jörn Hellsing, made in the 28th minute of the game. 29 minutes into the match, Boomerang Bombers's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Montel came free, but Carl Askelöf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute of the match Atlético Rio Cuarto got a corner. Boomerang Bombers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carlos Eduardo da Silveira ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a little luck, Boomerang Bombers's Carl Askelöf got control of the ball when Angelino Inautzi tried to sneak it across the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Boomerang Bombers's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Montel came free, but Carl Askelöf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Billy Sundberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Dimas having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Angelino Inautzi to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelino Inautzi in the 50th minute of play forced Boomerang Bombers's goalkeeper Carl Askelöf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Primitivo Abeitia hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Arman Högström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Bernardino Dimas made a huge save. Angelino Inautzi took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carl Askelöf. Carl Askelöf dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 62ndth minute of the game Angelino Inautzi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boomerang Bombers's Carl Askelöf was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bernardino Dimas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Tolsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelino Inautzi took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carl Askelöf. Carl Askelöf dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Henry Tolsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Dimas having to interfere. A hard shot 76 in the game by Arman Högström from a close distance when the talented Bernardino Dimas managed to make a qualified save. Atlético Rio Cuarto's players were relieved. 77 minutes into the match, Angelino Inautzi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carl Askelöf. Boomerang Bombers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angelino Inautzi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Billy Sundberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Bernardino Dimas made a huge save. The supporters of Boomerang Bombers booed when Atlético Rio Cuarto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Suarez didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Michael Nyberg in the 86th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Atlético Rio Cuarto's Primitivo Abeitia. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Boomerang Bombers's goalkeeper Carl Askelöf, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Atlético Rio Cuarto's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
