With a couple of smart ball manuevers Duran Mukerrem in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fredrik Bäckström saved Hawelka Himalayan High from getting behind. Fredrik Bäckström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duran Mukerrem, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Fredrik Bäckström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duran Mukerrem in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Duran Mukerrem left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zagłębie Dąbrowskie fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Fredrik Bäckström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ömür Seyfeddin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th match minute, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mugur Pandrea to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Krister Säf got free with Fabian Arendarski in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hawelka Himalayan High's Fredrik Bäckström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duran Mukerrem in the 20th minute of play. Duran Mukerrem's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fredrik Bäckström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute Duran Mukerrem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredrik Bäckström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 27th minute of the game was made by Jonas Gustafsson with Kristoffer Ahlén as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Fredrik Bäckström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duran Mukerrem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hawelka Himalayan High's Krister Säf got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 45 played minutes Hawelka Himalayan High got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Gustafsson. Duran Mukerrem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredrik Bäckström having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Duran Mukerrem made the kick off in the second half. 65 minutes into the match, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Duran Mukerrem sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fredrik Bäckström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie made a substitution. Otto Alberg replaced Damazy Turok. The long shot by Grzegorz Jankowski in the 72nd minute really tested Fredrik Bäckström's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Fredrik Bäckström came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Karol Biskupiak. But to his dismay, Karol Biskupiak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. When Hawelka Himalayan High's Chad Pro in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ömür Seyfeddin in the 81st minute of play forced Hawelka Himalayan High's goalkeeper Fredrik Bäckström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Fredrik Bäckström managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's István Hoffman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fredrik Bäckström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ömür Seyfeddin in the 86th minute of play. Koppány Novák took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabian Arendarski. Fabian Arendarski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Fredrik Bäckström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karol Biskupiak in the 95th minute. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
