Rasnita's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Viktor Cziráki scored to the left of an out of position Flavius Ferenț, making the score, 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Emeryt Sosnowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Cunea came free, but Cícero Palmeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexander Helguera blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flavius Ferenț having to make a save. Emeryt Sosnowiec's Cícero Palmeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Cunea in the 16th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Emeryt Sosnowiec's Viktor Cziráki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavius Ferenț narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Helguera in the 21st minute of play forced Rasnita's goalkeeper Flavius Ferenț to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viktor Cziráki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavius Ferenț read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Viktor Cziráki kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Flavius Ferenț. That made the score 2-0 in the 24 minute of play. Sabin Ştercă kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Viktor Cziráki got free with Flavius Ferenț in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rasnita's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Szymon Lipa was slow to take the kick. During this time Emeryt Sosnowiec's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Emeryt Sosnowiec's corner Viktor Cziráki fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Flavius Ferenț quite easily take care of the ball. After some careless play in the Rasnita defense, Alexander Helguera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavius Ferenț. The Rasnita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavius Ferenț should have stopped the shot. Alex Cunea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cícero Palmeira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. In the 40thth minute of the game Alexander Helguera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rasnita's Flavius Ferenț was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 43 played minutes Rasnita got a freekick which was hit by Rareș Vanghelie. In the 44th minute of the match, Viktor Cziráki got a very nice opportunity to score, but Flavius Ferenț was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Rasnita's Alex Cunea in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Emeryt Sosnowiec's goalie prevented a goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexander Helguera made a kick off. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rasnita's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Szymon Lipa was slow to take the kick. During this time Emeryt Sosnowiec's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Antal Fodor managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Emeryt Sosnowiec's Antal Fodor got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alex Cunea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cícero Palmeira having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antal Fodor in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavius Ferenț saved Rasnita from getting behind. Cícero Palmeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Cunea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Emeryt Sosnowiec booed when Rasnita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gigel Uncheşu didn't get a good kick on the ball. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 78th minute, but Cícero Palmeira got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Emeryt Sosnowiec hanging dry this time. Rasnita's Flavius Ferenț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Fodor in the 81st minute of play. Sebastian Toacsen might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cícero Palmeira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Toacsen ran back to his position shaking his head. Witomir Kornatowski hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Flavius Ferenț took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Helguera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Antal Fodor came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Emeryt Sosnowiec fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antal Fodor couldn't finish the play. Alexander Helguera struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Flavius Ferenț didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Emeryt Sosnowiec. Emeryt Sosnowiec were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Rasnita for a fine match.
