In the 36th minute, Santos Montel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute TRAKINAS FC were awarded a corner. Régis Guimarães went to the cornerflag to take it. Remo de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Inautzi in the 41st minute of play. Remo de Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelino Inautzi in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute Atlético Rio Cuarto were awarded a corner. Carlos Eduardo da Silveira went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Atlético Rio Cuarto's Donato Suarez getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Donato Suarez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Remo de Toledo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Lucas Arce hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Atlético Rio Cuarto's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Carlos Eduardo da Silveira in the 50th minute. Atlético Rio Cuarto's Carlos Eduardo da Silveira was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Remo de Toledo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angelino Inautzi made a kick off. Santos Montel struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Remo de Toledo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Rio Cuarto. A collision led to TRAKINAS FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Naldo Barreto hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the game, Angelino Inautzi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlético Rio Cuarto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TRAKINAS FC the free kick. Angelino Inautzi kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Oswaldo Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Bernardino Dimas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, TRAKINAS FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Santos Montel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A hard shot 73 in the game by Angelino Inautzi from a close distance when the talented Remo de Toledo managed to make a qualified save. TRAKINAS FC's players were relieved. TRAKINAS FC's Charles Oliveira quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gustav Högström, made in the 77th minute of the game. The supporters of TRAKINAS FC booed when Atlético Rio Cuarto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Eduardo da Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute, Oswaldo Matos made a precise shot to the right of Bernardino Dimas. Atlético Rio Cuarto's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 86 played minutes Atlético Rio Cuarto got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Ferrari. 88 minutes into the match, TRAKINAS FC's Oswaldo Matos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardino Dimas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Remo de Toledo came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Rio Cuarto's Angelino Inautzi. But to his dismay, Angelino Inautzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After having played for 93 minutes, Santos Montel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Rio Cuarto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santos Montel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
