Stig-Arne Engström started the match with the kick off. Flavius Ferenț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Arne Engström, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 7th minute, Stig-Arne Engström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arsenal MGK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Frisco Gómez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigel Apăvăloaie in the 18th minute of the match. Frisco Gómez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alex Cunea in the 19th minute. Arsenal MGK's Frisco Gómez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Arsenal MGK from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Stig-Arne Engström put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Flavius Ferenț. Zé Roberto Orange sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastian Toacsen might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frisco Gómez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Toacsen ran back to his position shaking his head. If Alex Cunea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rasnita's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jonas Cabral was slow to take the kick. During this time Arsenal MGK's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Jonas Cabral got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Flavius Ferenț quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alex Cunea to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Arne Engström in the 56th minute of play forced Rasnita's goalkeeper Flavius Ferenț to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Akil Yurtsever almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rasnita's Flavius Ferenț did a great save. 62 minutes into the match, Arsenal MGK's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Toacsen came free, but Frisco Gómez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Stig-Arne Engström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Stig-Arne Engström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 68 minutes into the game, Gigel Uncheşu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rasnita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arsenal MGK the free kick. Gigel Uncheşu hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Arsenal MGK's Barnaba Drebit in action when he in the 70th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 77th match minute, Rasnita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabin Ştercă to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Arsenal MGK booed when Rasnita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorel Vintilescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arsenal MGK's Léo Falcão was substituted for Al Pištěk. After 81 played minutes Rasnita got a freekick which was hit by Dorel Vintilescu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Arne Engström in the 84th minute of play forced Rasnita's goalkeeper Flavius Ferenț to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frisco Gómez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Toacsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 90 minutes of play, Rasnita's Alex Cunea made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frisco Gómez was left in no man's land by his defense there! During the 95th minute of the match Gigel Uncheşu completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gigel Uncheşu a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 95 played minutes Rasnita got a freekick which was hit by Gigel Uncheşu. The Rasnita fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Arsenal MGK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
