The shot was a little too simple and Bernardo Abeijon could save by the left post. In the 5th minute, Gez Little hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gez Little in the 8th minute of play forced Alba FC's goalkeeper Davide Conte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Davide Conte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gez Little in the 10th minute of the match. Davide Conte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gez Little in the 11th minute of play. Davide Conte came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Ampthill FC's Gez Little. But to his dismay, Gez Little quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Ampthill FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Abeijon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciro Cino. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zack Alderson in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Davide Conte saved Alba FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gez Little in the 18th minute of play forced Alba FC's goalkeeper Davide Conte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Ampthill FC's Gez Little nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Davide Conte made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Zack Alderson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Davide Conte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alba FC's Davide Conte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvino Serre in the 30th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Ampthill FC's Alvino Serre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Davide Conte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gez Little to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play, Ampthill FC's Zack Alderson made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Davide Conte was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Alba FC's zone, Alvino Serre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Davide Conte came out of the goal and Alvino Serre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Davide Conte managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Ampthill FC's Jack Potts fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 61 minutes into the match, Ciro Cino notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Ampthill FC's Bernardo Abeijon. Bernardo Abeijon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 65th minute Alba FC were awarded a corner. Ciro Cino went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Alba FC's Ciro Cino to fire away a dangerous shot which Bernardo Abeijon despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Davide Conte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zack Alderson in the 67th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Zack Alderson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davide Conte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciro Cino took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bernardo Abeijon. Ampthill FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvino Serre in the 75th minute of play forced Alba FC's goalkeeper Davide Conte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Alba FC's goalkeeper Davide Conte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gez Little. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Gez Little managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ampthill FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gez Little was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Davide Conte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 95 played minutes Ampthill FC got a freekick which was hit by Alvino Serre. The Ampthill FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ampthill FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
