Sven Valrot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ryszard Pilipiec in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven Valrot saved Råda BK from getting behind. If Ryszard Pilipiec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Aron Drake came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Råda BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aron Drake couldn't finish the play. Ryszard Pilipiec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Sven Valrot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Råda BK's Sven Valrot got control of the ball when Kazimierz Dylla tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ryszard Pilipiec was the one to do the kick off. Fritz Dahlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert Podolski having to interfere. Sven Valrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryszard Pilipiec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven Valrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartosz Faron in the 83rd minute of the match. Ryszard Pilipiec struck a weak shot in the 85th minute.
