Spectators: 7514 (Terracing: 5636, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gez Little kicked off to start the match. Jack Potts could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 2nd minute of the match, but Carlinhos Pinho made a huge save. In the 4th minute of the match Ampthill FC got a corner. MelissaMel's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Thor Eriksson ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Ampthill FC's Thor Eriksson to fire away a dangerous shot which Carlinhos Pinho despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Carlinhos Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gez Little in the 5th minute of play. Ampthill FC's Alvino Serre got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jack Potts got free with Carlinhos Pinho in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlinhos Pinho was a little too slow when Marcelino Playo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-0. 25 minutes into the match, MelissaMel's goalkeeper Carlinhos Pinho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gez Little. Carlinhos Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Playo in the 30th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gez Little got free with Carlinhos Pinho in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlinhos Pinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelino Playo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ampthill FC booed when MelissaMel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noel Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlinhos Pinho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thor Eriksson in the 40th minute. MelissaMel's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Marcelino Playo scored to the left of an out of position Carlinhos Pinho, making the score, 3-0. Carlinhos Pinho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gez Little's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Ruy Lara made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Gez Little ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlinhos Pinho was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After some careless play in the MelissaMel defense, Gez Little kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlinhos Pinho. The MelissaMel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlinhos Pinho should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelino Playo in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlinhos Pinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 68th minute of the match Ampthill FC got a corner. MelissaMel's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Thor Eriksson ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Thor Eriksson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MelissaMel's Carlinhos Pinho did a great save. A collision led to Ampthill FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Kain Havertz hit a great ball. Carlinhos Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gez Little in the 74th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Gez Little's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlinhos Pinho was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. 75 minutes into the match, Jack Potts had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlinhos Pinho. MelissaMel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jack Potts was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 79th minute, Alvino Serre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlinhos Pinho was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. In the 83rd minute, Anderson Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the match, MelissaMel's goal looked a bit too open when Jack Potts came free, but Carlinhos Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, MelissaMel's goal looked a bit too open when Alvino Serre came free, but Carlinhos Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in MelissaMel's zone, Gez Little stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlinhos Pinho came out of the goal and Gez Little tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlinhos Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gez Little in the 90th minute of play. Gez Little scored 8-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlinhos Pinho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ampthill FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
