In the 14th minute, Stefan Pieters ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Konstanty Klimkiewicz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Konstanty Klimkiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marian Ghiciușca in the 19th minute of play. Konstanty Klimkiewicz came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Champions Iasi's Stefan Pieters. But to his dismay, Stefan Pieters quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Konstanty Klimkiewicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stefan Pieters's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the match, KS Zryw Rybitwy's goalkeeper Konstanty Klimkiewicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stefan Pieters. The audience was convinced that Arnoldo Pedro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rouven Nussli was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Ghiciușca in the 36th minute of play forced KS Zryw Rybitwy's goalkeeper Konstanty Klimkiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in KS Zryw Rybitwy reached it. When the referee ended the match the Champions Iasi players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
