Rouven Nussli made a fantastic save in the 2nd minute, when Yoshie Elin sent off a good shot on target. Yoshie Elin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 2nd minute of the match, but Rouven Nussli made a huge save. After 6 minutes of play, Champions Iasi's Jacinto Romero made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pawel Ziombkowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dobromir Setara took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rouven Nussli. Champions Iasi's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind KS KOJAK's goalkeeper Pawel Ziombkowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, KS KOJAK's goal looked a bit too open when Pontus Fagrell came free, but Pawel Ziombkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pawel Ziombkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Champions Iasi's Rouven Nussli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Vargas in the 28th minute of play. The supporters of KS KOJAK booed when Champions Iasi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remington Dobson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 36 played minutes Champions Iasi got a freekick which was hit by Gheorghe Chifu. Jacinto Romero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th match minute, KS KOJAK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iwo Bielatowicz to maneuver through the defense. Stefan Pieters took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pawel Ziombkowski. KS KOJAK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jacinto Romero to strike the kick off in the second half. The Champions Iasi fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Champions Iasi's Jacinto Romero looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Pawel Ziombkowski was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Jacinto Romero capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jacinto Romero really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. 69 minutes into the game, Champions Iasi's Jacinto Romero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pawel Ziombkowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. After 77 minutes, Yoshie Elin made it 1-5 with a short kick to the right side. Champions Iasi's Rouven Nussli tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 84th match minute, KS KOJAK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yoshie Elin to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, KS KOJAK's Gul Banan got a free kick in the 86th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacinto Romero got free with Pawel Ziombkowski in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
