Tato Vega could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Mansour Buffon made a huge save. 15 minutes into the match, Que se abra o mar's goal looked a bit too open when Macias Pantoja came free, but Sandro Tepedino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 played minutes Juventus FC got a freekick which was hit by Mansour Cannavaro. Sandro Tepedino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Macias Pantoja, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Sandro Tepedino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Macias Pantoja in the 19th minute of play. Sandro Tepedino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mansour Cannavaro in the 22nd minute of the match. Mansour Buffon made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Tato Vega sent off a good shot on target. Albertinho Andrade might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mansour Buffon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albertinho Andrade ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 27 minutes, Lando Norin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Que se abra o mar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lando Norin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lando Norin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mansour Buffon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tato Vega in the 32nd minute. Sandro Tepedino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sabino Marrero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anko Arias scored 0-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sandro Tepedino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 44th minute, Berto Romero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute Macias Pantoja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Tepedino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After taking down the ball on Que se abra o mar's corner Bebeto Pimenta fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mansour Buffon quite easily take care of the ball. Mansour Buffon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Loco Orange received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Mansour Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Que se abra o mar's goal looked a bit too open when Anko Arias came free, but Sandro Tepedino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Loco Orange had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Juventus FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Que se abra o mar.
