The C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's Godfredo Nuñez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rafael Mimenza was a little too slow when Godfredo Nuñez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 2-0. After 12 minutes, Luis-Antonio Giraldo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zebolla FC and the C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo booed when Zebolla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis-Antonio Giraldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Godfredo Nuñez in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Mimenza saved Zebolla FC from getting behind. Teofilo Oxarra kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desire Mañaria in the 30th minute of play forced C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's goalkeeper Serafin Bernal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th match minute, Zebolla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis-Antonio Giraldo to maneuver through the defense. Godfredo Nuñez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafael Mimenza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. A hard shot 44 in the game by Godfredo Nuñez from a close distance when the talented Rafael Mimenza managed to make a qualified save. Zebolla FC's players were relieved. Zebolla FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Godfredo Nuñez scored to the left of an out of position Rafael Mimenza, making the score, 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
Zebolla FC's Gaston Urtarte was substituted for Baiona Gobantes. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Godfredo Nuñez to make the kick off. When Godfredo Nuñez came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godfredo Nuñez couldn't finish the play. Rafael Mimenza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Godfredo Nuñez's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. The supporters of Zebolla FC booed when C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Oxarra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafael Mimenza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Godfredo Nuñez's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Teofilo Oxarra kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Godfredo Nuñez notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Zebolla FC's Rafael Mimenza. Rafael Mimenza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo made a substitution. Luciano Segio replaced Dawid Serwacki. Rafael Mimenza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Nikola, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Serafin Bernal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Barbosa in the 79th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Wilfredo Nikola managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilfredo Nikola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Mimenza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilfredo Nikola in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Mimenza saved Zebolla FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Barbosa in the 87th minute of play forced C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's goalkeeper Serafin Bernal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute Aureliano Negro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Mimenza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Mimenza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilfredo Nikola went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's Serafin Bernal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Barbosa in the 97th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
