Borys Witek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatan Aspvik, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 9th match minute, Les diables noirs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorian Lestrade to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute of the match, Kent Remme tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hermínio Penha saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 12 minutes Brufoss IL's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Léopold Guiraud who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Léopold Guiraud got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Borys Witek quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Brufoss IL's Emanuel Markham in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 35thth minute of the game Duda Terra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brufoss IL's Borys Witek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Les diables noirs's Jonatan Aspvik nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Borys Witek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Brufoss IL's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Léopold Guiraud was slow to take the kick. During this time Les diables noirs's players had a chance to rest. Léopold Guiraud made a great header on Les diables noirs's corner, it was just that Brufoss IL's Borys Witek managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonatan Aspvik in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Borys Witek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Steve Gabrielli made the kick off in the second half. Christer Ribe charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Jakob Lode didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Brufoss IL's goalkeeper Borys Witek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Duda Terra. The audience was convinced that Emanuel Markham's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hermínio Penha was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Camille Valli got free with Borys Witek in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonatan Aspvik received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Borys Witek came out and tried to block the shot, but Jonatan Aspvik slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 82nd minute. The supporters of Les diables noirs booed when Brufoss IL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kent Remme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Borys Witek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Aspvik in the 91st minute of play. Borys Witek came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Les diables noirs's Jonatan Aspvik. But to his dismay, Jonatan Aspvik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Les diables noirs's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
