Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Emanuel Markham made the kick off which started today's match. Wang Cheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Remme in the 6th minute of play. After 7 minutes Gärsnäs BF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kai Østbye who took care of the corner kick. Kai Østbye made a great header on Brufoss IL's corner, it was just that Gärsnäs BF's Wang Cheng managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 8th minute, one of Gärsnäs BF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gärsnäs BF. Wang Cheng had in the 10thth minute some difficulties stopping Kent Remme's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Kai Østbye received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Wang Cheng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute Dane Friebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Witek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brufoss IL's Borys Witek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Hägglund in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute Gärsnäs BF were awarded a corner. Dane Friebe went to the cornerflag to take it. Gärsnäs BF's George Hägglund was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Borys Witek in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Borys Witek made an important save on a dangerous shot by George Hägglund in the 24th minute. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Brufoss IL's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dane Friebe was slow to take the kick. During this time Gärsnäs BF's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Dane Friebe almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Brufoss IL's Borys Witek did a great save. After having played for 29 minutes, Dane Friebe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gärsnäs BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dane Friebe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gärsnäs BF's Wang Cheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Markham in the 31st minute of play. Wang Cheng came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Brufoss IL's Emanuel Markham. But to his dismay, Emanuel Markham quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 35 minutes into the match, Brufoss IL's goal looked a bit too open when George Hägglund came free, but Borys Witek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Brufoss IL booed when Gärsnäs BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Hägglund didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dane Friebe to strike the kick off in the second half. Christer Ribe charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christer Ribe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd match minute, Brufoss IL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christer Ribe to maneuver through the defense. Maido Niit's late challenge caught a Brufoss IL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maido Niit helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd minute, Maido Niit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wang Cheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Remme in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute Kai Østbye shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wang Cheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Markham might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wang Cheng. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emanuel Markham ran back to his position shaking his head. Dane Friebe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Borys Witek having to interfere. Brufoss IL's Borys Witek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dane Friebe in the 70th minute of play. After 71 minutes of play, Gärsnäs BF's Dane Friebe made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Borys Witek was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Markham got free with Wang Cheng in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Kai Østbye came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Brufoss IL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kai Østbye couldn't finish the play. Borys Witek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Hägglund in the 76th minute of play. Gärsnäs BF's Wang Cheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Markham in the 79th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Gärsnäs BF's goalkeeper Wang Cheng had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kai Østbye. Thanks to some nice moves Emanuel Markham could shoot a difficult shot in the 90th minute, which Wang Cheng however easily saved by the left post. In the 94th minute of the match, Emanuel Markham got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wang Cheng was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Gärsnäs BF's Tord Lang got a free kick in the 95th minute. Kai Østbye shot from long distance in the 96th minute, but Wang Cheng was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Gärsnäs BF's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
