The crowd rose to their feet as Mugurel Balaeț kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Melquiades Amor. That made the score 1-1 in the 12 minute of play. In the 20th minute, Mugurel Balaeț ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Melquiades Amor was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 22nd minute, Fred Kirkpatrick ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Melquiades Amor was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Melquiades Amor was left in no man's land by his defense there! 32 minutes into the match, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goalkeeper Melquiades Amor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fred Kirkpatrick. Tytus Banaszak scored 5-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melquiades Amor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The wind increased when Genko Balevski made the kick off in the second half. Melquiades Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Kirkpatrick in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goal looked a bit too open when Reese Otto came free, but Melquiades Amor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 54 minutes into the game, Reese Otto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Melquiades Amor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Genko Balevski managed to get in a good position for a shot. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's supporters rose to their feet, but Genko Balevski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rhys Dimmock breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Melquiades Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davis Duff in the 60th minute of play. Fred Kirkpatrick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the match, Zamalek FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Dantas came free, but Rhys Dimmock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zamalek FC's Rhys Dimmock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genko Balevski in the 67th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 74 minutes into the game, when Amadeu Veloso put in a rough tackle. In the 76th minute, Mugurel Balaeț got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fred Kirkpatrick in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melquiades Amor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Melquiades Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davis Duff in the 84th minute of play. Zamalek FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mugurel Balaeț in the 85th minute. The corner led Zamalek FC's Davis Duff to fire away a dangerous shot which Melquiades Amor despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Melquiades Amor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tytus Banaszak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Zamalek FC had played much better football throughout.
