Spectators: 7459 (Terracing: 5595, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frode Tobiassen started the match with the kick off. A collision led to FC Cosula-BTF- getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Dan Alupulesei hit a great ball. If Christer Ribe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th play minute Frode Tobiassen came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ilie Brumaru. 1-0. Kai Østbye sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Christer Ribe came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Brufoss IL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christer Ribe couldn't finish the play. In the last second Ilie Brumaru throw himself and got hold of the ball when Frode Tobiassen in the 20thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Frode Tobiassen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Ilie Brumaru when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 26th minute, Kai Østbye reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ilie Brumaru. The goal made the score 2-0. 32 minutes into the match, FC Cosula-BTF-'s goalkeeper Ilie Brumaru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frode Tobiassen. Kai Østbye took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ilie Brumaru. Ilie Brumaru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Ilie Brumaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Remme in the 38th minute of play. Kent Remme received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ilie Brumaru came out and tried to block the shot, but Kent Remme slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 42nd minute. After a rather tough play, Brufoss IL's Emmanuel Schol got a free kick in the 45th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kai Østbye in the 47th minute of play forced FC Cosula-BTF-'s goalkeeper Ilie Brumaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ciprian Gaiță to make the kick off. Ilie Brumaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kent Remme in the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd minute of the match Brufoss IL got a corner. FC Cosula-BTF-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kai Østbye ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jakob Lode recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th match minute, FC Cosula-BTF- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Alupulesei to maneuver through the defense. When Kai Østbye fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brufoss IL's protests and gave Kai Østbye a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Brufoss IL's Kai Østbye got a free kick in the 61st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frode Tobiassen in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ilie Brumaru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC Cosula-BTF-'s Ilie Brumaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frode Tobiassen in the 69th minute of play. After 69 played minutes FC Cosula-BTF- got a freekick which was hit by Petre Bogătan. Brufoss IL made a substitution. Kajetan Kazimierz replaced Anders Elstad. Petre Bogătan hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Ilie Brumaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frode Tobiassen, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Ilie Brumaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kent Remme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ilie Brumaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kent Remme in the 78th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, FC Cosula-BTF-'s goal looked a bit too open when Kai Østbye came free, but Ilie Brumaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kent Remme in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ilie Brumaru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 82 minutes FC Cosula-BTF-'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kai Østbye who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Brufoss IL's Kai Østbye to fire away a dangerous shot which Ilie Brumaru despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Kai Østbye cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Ilie Brumaru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vintilă Bădescu got free with Borys Witek in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ilie Brumaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kai Østbye in the 90th minute of play. Ilie Brumaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frode Tobiassen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brufoss IL's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kai Østbye in the 93rd minute. It was a well-played corner which Jakob Lode managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Ilie Brumaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kai Østbye, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
