After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Reese Otto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zamalek FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Reese Otto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xan Descapa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rhys Dimmock made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Tostão Ribeiro sent off a good shot on target. In the 90th minute, Reese Otto made a precise shot to the right of Xan Descapa. C T Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 93rd minute Tostão Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rhys Dimmock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Zamalek FC had won after a very even match.
