After taking down the ball on Discípulos de Ayn Rand's corner Octavio Geleberto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wilfredo Rodriguez quite easily take care of the ball. Wilfredo Rodriguez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Octavio Geleberto's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Lonzo in the 12th minute of play forced Pindobassu EC's goalkeeper Wilfredo Rodriguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Ambrosio Lonzo sped through Pindobassu EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wilfredo Rodriguez. With a little luck, Pindobassu EC's Wilfredo Rodriguez got control of the ball when Ambrosio Lonzo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 22nd minute Jeff Beck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manos Manteca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manos Manteca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeff Beck, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Wilfredo Rodriguez made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Ambrosio Lonzo sent off a good shot on target. Ambrosio Lonzo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Pindobassu EC's Wilfredo Rodriguez got control of the ball when Ambrosio Lonzo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ambrosio Lonzo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilfredo Rodriguez having to make a save. Wilfredo Rodriguez made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Ambrosio Lonzo sent off a good shot on target. Ambrosio Lonzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfredo Rodriguez having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ambrosio Lonzo was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Discípulos de Ayn Rand booed when Pindobassu EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raphael Bertassi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute of the match Muc Abeita sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wilfredo Rodriguez skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Pindobassu EC booed when Discípulos de Ayn Rand was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardinho Custódio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pindobassu EC made a substitution. Humberto Diniz replaced Gilberto Cordeiro. After a rather tough play, Discípulos de Ayn Rand's Ricardinho Custódio got a free kick in the 59th minute. When Olavo Linares fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pindobassu EC's protests and gave Olavo Linares a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th minute, one of Pindobassu EC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pindobassu EC. Pindobassu EC:s Wilfredo Rodriguez showed great skill when he stopped Muc Abeita:s penalty. Pindobassu EC's Wilfredo Rodriguez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ambrosio Lonzo in the 78th minute of play. Jerold Abel made a great header on Discípulos de Ayn Rand's corner, it was just that Pindobassu EC's Wilfredo Rodriguez managed to reach the ball for a save. If Ambrosio Lonzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Discípulos de Ayn Rand were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Pindobassu EC for a fine match.
