Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zlatan Gigant in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilfredo Rodriguez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wilfredo Rodriguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zlatan Gigant in the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute of the match United got a corner. Pindobassu EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Modesto Peirano ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Zlatan Gigant managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When Raphael Bertassi fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pindobassu EC's protests and gave Raphael Bertassi a yellow card for diving instead. Raphael Bertassi kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Pindobassu EC's goal looked a bit too open when Modesto Peirano came free, but Wilfredo Rodriguez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. United's Tomas Mikelar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Andrézinho França in the 35 minute of the game. In the 68th minute, Nilmar Vargas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Pindobassu EC booed when United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hong Hong didn't get a good kick on the ball. The United players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
