Ahmet Efe Suheyl started the match with the kick off. Sabahattin Erten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Kazczyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zlatan Gigant got free with Alisson Becker in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alisson Becker made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Zlatan Gigant sent off a good shot on target. In the 17th match minute, United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingo Oinaz to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Zlatan Gigant managed to get in a good position for a shot. United's supporters rose to their feet, but Zlatan Gigant was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alisson Becker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sabahattin Erten came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Juniors's Sebastian Kazczyk. But to his dismay, Sebastian Kazczyk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Vinos Petrini hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Sabahattin Erten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Kazczyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 minutes United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Claudio Cabrera who took care of the corner kick. Jerry Dhanabalan made a great header on Real Juniors's corner, it was just that United's Sabahattin Erten managed to reach the ball for a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Zlatan Gigant managed to get in a good position for a shot. United's supporters rose to their feet, but Zlatan Gigant was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alisson Becker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sabahattin Erten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerry Dhanabalan in the 41st minute of play. United's Ernesto Vermudo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Claudio Cabrera, made in the 42nd minute of the game. 46 minutes into the game, Javi Pinola was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave United the free kick. In the 46th minute, Javi Pinola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute, Modesto Peirano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zlatan Gigant to strike the kick off in the second half. Sabahattin Erten made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Efe Suheyl in the 55th minute. After having played for 62 minutes, Zlatan Gigant managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zlatan Gigant was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sabahattin Erten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerry Dhanabalan, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 72 minutes into the game, Real Juniors's Jerry Dhanabalan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sabahattin Erten made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 76th minute, Real Juniors's Ahmet Efe Suheyl dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. In the 80th minute Ahmet Efe Suheyl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabahattin Erten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Efe Suheyl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sabahattin Erten having to interfere. The United supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Real Juniors's performance. The match ended with a win for Real Juniors.
