Edgar Ström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Edgar Ström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quinto Naveros in the 17th minute of play. Francisco Javier De Pedro kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Edgar Ström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Fernanco in the 24th minute of the match. After 26th play minutes Bernt Vennerkvist shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Eduardo Atila and just under the crossbar into goal. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Ulises Fernanco sped through Hisingen IK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edgar Ström. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulises Fernanco in the 35th minute of play forced Hisingen IK's goalkeeper Edgar Ström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Elohay Elohim אלוהי אלוה's Ceferino Txomin got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 43rd minute there was a penalty for Elohay Elohim אלוהי אלוה. Francisco Javier De Pedro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Edgar Ström. 1-3. After the first half Elohay Elohim אלוהי אלוה were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viktor Nyman to make the kick off. The Elohay Elohim אלוהי אלוה supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Elohay Elohim אלוהי אלוה would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
