The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernt Vennerkvist got free with Antoni Teofila in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 49th minute of the match Hisingen IK got a corner. Myszków SSA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mattias Gabrielsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Mattias Gabrielsson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Antoni Teofila quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
