The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mark Sæbø to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mark Sæbø got free with Vicente Catarinense in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 53rd minute, Mark Sæbø ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vicente Catarinense was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Vicente Catarinense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yeşilköyspor played a much better game than Academia B.F. and deserved their victory. The Academia B.F. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
