Oscar Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Biagio Pallini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudinho Pinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Pardini having to interfere. Oscar Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Biagio Pallini, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Armando Ceresoli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Foot Ball Club di Roma's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Ceresoli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Foot Ball Club di Roma's Biagio Pallini slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Oscar Saldanha. That made the score 3-0 after 33 minutes of play. 36 minutes into the match, Niccolo Zaniolo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oscar Saldanha. Squadra Demarchi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niccolo Zaniolo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudinho Pinho made a kick off. Foot Ball Club di Roma's Niccolo Zaniolo got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute Biagio Pallini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulinho Paraibano shot from long distance in the 89th minute, but Alvaro Pardini was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. A collision led to Squadra Demarchi getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Nelson Vidal hit a great ball. Biagio Scoca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oscar Saldanha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Foot Ball Club di Roma's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinho Pinho came free, but Alvaro Pardini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 97 minutes of play, Foot Ball Club di Roma's Biagio Scoca made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oscar Saldanha was left in no man's land by his defense there!
