Foot Ball Club di Roma's Biagio Scoca was substituted for Biagio Pallini. 9 minutes into the match, Eureka's goal looked a bit too open when Biagio Scoca came free, but Salvador Sordo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvaro Pardini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Portugal in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Eureka's goalkeeper Salvador Sordo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Biagio Scoca. Foot Ball Club di Roma's Alvaro Pardini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dário Colaço in the 14th minute of play. Alvaro Pardini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Portugal in the 18th minute of play. With his leg Salvador Sordo managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Foot Ball Club di Roma's Biagio Scoca fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Ettore Scarcella managed to get in a good position for a shot. Foot Ball Club di Roma's supporters rose to their feet, but Ettore Scarcella was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Salvador Sordo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 29th minute Armando Ceresoli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Sordo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvaro Pardini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dário Colaço, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Alvaro Pardini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dário Colaço, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Biagio Scoca got free with Salvador Sordo in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 39th minute Armando Ceresoli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Sordo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Biagio Scoca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Biagio Scoca in the 44th minute of play forced Eureka's goalkeeper Salvador Sordo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Biagio Scoca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Salvador Sordo having to make a save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Armando Ceresoli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eureka's Salvador Sordo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Biagio Scoca in the 51st minute of play. Alvaro Pardini made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Valentim Castilho sent off a good shot on target. When Quintino Lobo fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eureka's protests and gave Quintino Lobo a yellow card for diving instead. After 55 played minutes Eureka got a freekick which was hit by Quintino Lobo. Armando Ceresoli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Shi Xi Wei fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eureka's protests and gave Shi Xi Wei a yellow card for diving instead. Shi Xi Wei hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Salvador Sordo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Biagio Scoca in the 66th minute of play. Alvaro Pardini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valentim Castilho in the 71st minute. In the 72nd match minute, Foot Ball Club di Roma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ettore Scarcella to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute Biagio Scoca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Sordo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Fedele Cimino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eureka's Salvador Sordo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Biagio Scoca in the 81st minute of play. If Armindo Barcelos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salvador Sordo came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Foot Ball Club di Roma's Biagio Scoca. But to his dismay, Biagio Scoca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Eureka's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
