With his leg Virgilio Sotil managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Academia B.F.'s Primo Sans fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Academia B.F. fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Academia B.F.'s Primo Sans looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Primo Sans might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Virgilio Sotil. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Primo Sans ran back to his position shaking his head. Virgilio Sotil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Primo Sans in the 14th minute. Primo Sans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primo Sans in the 17th minute of play forced Villa Mitre's goalkeeper Virgilio Sotil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Primo Sans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 23rd minute, Primo Sans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Virgilio Sotil was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Virgilio Sotil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primo Sans in the 26th minute of the match. The supporters of Academia B.F. booed when Villa Mitre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blas Seber didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vicente Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Mateo in the 34th minute of the match. If Primo Sans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Virgilio Sotil made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Primo Sans sent off a good shot on target. In the 40th minute, Wiliam Carioca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd match minute, Villa Mitre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blas Seber to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaspar Mateo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Villa Mitre got a freekick which was hit by Romulo Pelayo. In the 56th minute Primo Sans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Sotil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 60 minutes of play, Academia B.F.'s Primo Sans made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Virgilio Sotil was left in no man's land by his defense there! Blas Seber made in the 63rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Academia B.F.'s Lauro Quirino. Primo Sans blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Virgilio Sotil having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primo Sans in the 64th minute of play forced Villa Mitre's goalkeeper Virgilio Sotil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramiro Jerano during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Academia B.F. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Villa Mitre's Virgilio Sotil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Totti in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute Michel Totti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Sotil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blas Seber kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Academia B.F..
