Erberk Tunçkol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dalmacio Paublo having to make a save. E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Mané Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Borja in the 5th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Anjullan AFC's goalkeeper Dalmacio Paublo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albin Anundsson. Mané Barreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Borja in the 11th minute of play. Anjullan AFC's Dalmacio Paublo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Anjullan AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute Santiago Gentiletti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Jorginho Lago in the 22nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Anjullan AFC's Orlando Millrick. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Albin Anundsson took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Dalmacio Paublo to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Anjullan AFC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Sebastian Panpili hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's zone, Miguel Borja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mané Barreto came out of the goal and Miguel Borja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edinho Dantas hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Miguel Borja might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mané Barreto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miguel Borja ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 46th minute Miguel Borja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erberk Tunçkol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 63 played minutes Anjullan AFC got a freekick which was hit by Siro Castulo. Miguel Borja struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Mané Barreto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anjullan AFC. Dalmacio Paublo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erberk Tunçkol in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Miguel Borja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anjullan AFC's Amancio Benat was substituted for Miguel Borja. In the 71st minute, Miguel Borja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anjullan AFC's attentive Sebastian Panpili managed to snatch the ball when Olívio Barral made a throw-in in the 85th minute of the game. Mané Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amancio Benat in the 86th minute of the match. Dalmacio Paublo came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Thomás Loureiro. But to his dismay, Thomás Loureiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 93rd minute of the match, Amancio Benat tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mané Barreto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 96th match minute, Anjullan AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Panpili to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Anjullan AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for E. C. Flamengo Paraibano.
