After a rather tough play, Anjullan AFC's Leo Azevedo got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Dalmacio Paublo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Folke Lövgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dalmacio Paublo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Folke Lövgren ran back to his position shaking his head. After 19 played minutes Anjullan AFC got a freekick which was hit by Siro Castulo. Folke Lövgren took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dalmacio Paublo. Anjullan AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 21 minutes Anjullan AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Folke Lövgren who took care of the corner kick. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Timmernabben FF's goalkeeper Tomás Guillen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 24 minutes Timmernabben FF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Santiago Gentiletti who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Santiago Gentiletti almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Timmernabben FF's Tomás Guillen did a great save. Dalmacio Paublo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sakarias Stephansson went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Siro Castulo hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The supporters of Anjullan AFC booed when Timmernabben FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan Hallgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomás Guillen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santiago Gentiletti in the 38th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santiago Gentiletti during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 42 played minutes Anjullan AFC got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Gentiletti. Dalmacio Paublo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaká Junior in the 46th minute of the match. Miguel Borja recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Timmernabben FF were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnulfo Lugo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Timmernabben FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaká Junior to maneuver through the defense. Dalmacio Paublo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Lugo in the 55th minute of play. Dalmacio Paublo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kaká Junior in the 59th minute. Tomás Guillen came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Anjullan AFC's Miguel Borja. But to his dismay, Miguel Borja quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. With an all-out effort, Timmernabben FF's Dalmacio Paublo threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sakarias Stephansson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Anjullan AFC's players were relieved. 65 minutes into the match, Kaká Junior had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dalmacio Paublo. Anjullan AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kaká Junior was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Dalmacio Paublo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulfo Lugo, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Tomás Guillen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miguel Borja went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Anjullan AFC made a substitution.
