After 26 minutes, Vivaldo Cunha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the E. C. Flamengo Paraibano and the SimuV3 players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardinho Vaz in the 28th minute of play forced SimuV3's goalkeeper Altay Ulgu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Lips came free, but Mané Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in SimuV3's zone, Albin Anundsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Altay Ulgu came out of the goal and Albin Anundsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to E. C. Flamengo Paraibano getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Erberk Tunçkol hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute Raul Lips shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 43 minutes, Erberk Tunçkol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erberk Tunçkol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erberk Tunçkol in the 44th minute of play forced SimuV3's goalkeeper Altay Ulgu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
