Romo Cardarda hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Nicklas Dalgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramirez Olazabala read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Timmernabben FF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Anton Hegg in the 5th minute. The corner led Timmernabben FF's Anton Hegg to fire away a dangerous shot which Ramirez Olazabala despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 10th minute Romo Cardarda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Guillen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timmernabben FF's Tomás Guillen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romo Cardarda in the 12th minute of play. Ramirez Olazabala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulfo Lugo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Tomás Guillen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hasan Can Yerhum's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Galeno Barruso was extremely unlucky when he, in the 31st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Mete y Raspa FC's Hasan Can Yerhum got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Julen Barahona fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mete y Raspa FC's protests and gave Julen Barahona a yellow card for diving instead. Julen Barahona hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Tomás Guillen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hasan Can Yerhum in the 39th minute. After 39 minutes, Hasan Can Yerhum made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Timmernabben FF's Tomás Guillen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hasan Can Yerhums short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Tomás Guillen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Manex Boliaga's late challenge caught a Timmernabben FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manex Boliaga helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Mete y Raspa FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Manex Boliaga hit a great ball. Ramirez Olazabala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Hegg in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnulfo Lugo to make the kick off. In the 60th minute, Julen Barahona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Timmernabben FF defense, Romo Cardarda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomás Guillen. The Timmernabben FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomás Guillen should have stopped the shot. Tomás Guillen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hasan Can Yerhum in the 68th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Timmernabben FF's zone, Romo Cardarda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Guillen came out of the goal and Romo Cardarda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kaká Junior scored 2-1 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ramirez Olazabala, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hasan Can Yerhum recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Mete y Raspa FC's Hasan Can Yerhum in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Timmernabben FF's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sakarias Stephansson got free with Ramirez Olazabala in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mete y Raspa FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Timmernabben FF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
