The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rdth minute of the game Simon Bannenbusch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Simared -MM-'s Ernest Cazimir was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gencer Hisarcık charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gencer Hisarcık the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gencer Hisarcık kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Simared -MM- defense, Fabrizio Nowak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernest Cazimir. The Simared -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernest Cazimir should have stopped the shot. After 12 minutes of play, KFC Uerdingen 05's Fabrizio Nowak made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernest Cazimir was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hartwig Engelhardt hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Simared -MM-'s Ernest Cazimir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrizio Nowak in the 18th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hartwig Engelhardt in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernest Cazimir saved Simared -MM- from getting behind. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Hartwig Engelhardt sped through Simared -MM-'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ernest Cazimir. Ernest Cazimir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hartwig Engelhardt, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Hartwig Engelhardt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ernest Cazimir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to KFC Uerdingen 05 getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Fabrizio Nowak hit a great ball. Ernest Cazimir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Bannenbusch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, KFC Uerdingen 05's goalkeeper Brandon Mang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dumitru Miron. Constantin Udubaşa kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Simared -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Hartwig Engelhardt came free, but Ernest Cazimir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half KFC Uerdingen 05 were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 59 played minutes KFC Uerdingen 05 got a freekick which was hit by Ray Schikaneder. After 60 played minutes, Simared -MM-'s Constantin Udubaşa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Brandon Mang came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Simared -MM- reached it. Simared -MM-'s Ernest Cazimir proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Simared -MM- from getting a goal against them. Hartwig Engelhardts short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Ernest Cazimir to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 69 minutes into the match, Simared -MM-'s goalkeeper Ernest Cazimir had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Simon Bannenbusch. Virgil Dulgherescu kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Hartwig Engelhardt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Ernest Cazimir made a huge save. KFC Uerdingen 05 made a substitution. Brian Laudrup replaced Simon Bannenbusch. In the 81st minute KFC Uerdingen 05 were awarded a corner. Ricardo Lugebiel went to the cornerflag to take it. Ernest Cazimir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrizio Nowak in the 88th minute of the match. Brandon Mang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narcis Dragalina, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Ernest Cazimir made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brian Laudrup in the 92nd minute. The supporters of Simared -MM- booed when KFC Uerdingen 05 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brian Laudrup didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute Nicodim Codrea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brandon Mang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernest Enoaia's late challenge caught a KFC Uerdingen 05's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernest Enoaia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th minute, Ernest Enoaia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
