KFC Uerdingen 05's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mannerheim the free kick. After 8 played minutes KFC Uerdingen 05 got a freekick which was hit by Fabrizio Nowak. In the 9th match minute, KFC Uerdingen 05 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Tano to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Simon Bannenbusch left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KFC Uerdingen 05 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Gigi Mantu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute Simon Bannenbusch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigi Mantu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Wischnowsky took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tito Circelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olli-Pekka Paajanen hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Sylwester Dziuma took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gigi Mantu. Mannerheim's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 宋凡风 kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Gigi Mantu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Bannenbusch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Simon Bannenbusch might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gigi Mantu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Simon Bannenbusch ran back to his position shaking his head. 33 minutes into the match, KFC Uerdingen 05's goalkeeper Gabriel Wischnowsky had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tito Circelli. The audience was convinced that Simon Bannenbusch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gigi Mantu was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. After 38 minutes Mannerheim's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sylwester Dziuma who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Lando Cürten managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Vasil Lajić lost his temper 40 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mannerheim fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! Gigi Mantu came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by KFC Uerdingen 05's Simon Bannenbusch. But to his dismay, Simon Bannenbusch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Simon Bannenbusch made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as KFC Uerdingen 05's Simon Bannenbusch slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gigi Mantu. That made the score 0-4 after 57 minutes of play. After 60 played minutes Mannerheim got a freekick which was hit by Marko Takala. Gabriel Wischnowsky made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tito Circelli in the 62nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Fabrizio Nowak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute of the match Albert Jokilahti sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gabriel Wischnowsky skillfully saved the ball. In the 76thth minute of the game Simon Bannenbusch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mannerheim's Gigi Mantu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 78th minute, Simon Bannenbusch ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gigi Mantu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. The KFC Uerdingen 05 fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when KFC Uerdingen 05's Simon Bannenbusch looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Simon Bannenbusch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Marko Takala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Mannerheim's Gigi Mantu got control of the ball when Ariel Breiffel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tito Circelli's late challenge caught a KFC Uerdingen 05's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tito Circelli helped the player get up and apologised. KFC Uerdingen 05's Magnus Bülau was substituted for Gencer Hisarcık. After 95 played minutes Mannerheim got a freekick which was hit by Tito Circelli. The Mannerheim fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. KFC Uerdingen 05 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
