Spectators: 7476 (Terracing: 5608, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Valentin Negroni took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pheonix FC's zone, Dante Rafe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tyge Oehlerich came out of the goal and Dante Rafe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th minute, Toto Fabri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gavino Belarmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wolfgang Vesterø, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Pheonix FC's Felix Lebel got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 13th minute, Humberto Rodrigues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 15 minutes into the match, 任正振 notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Metapalo FC's Gavino Belarmo. Gavino Belarmo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gavino Belarmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wolfgang Vesterø in the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dante Rafe in the 22nd minute of play forced Pheonix FC's goalkeeper Tyge Oehlerich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacinto Baumar's late challenge caught a Pheonix FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacinto Baumar helped the player get up and apologised. 29 minutes into the game, Metapalo FC's Dante Rafe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tyge Oehlerich made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Gavino Belarmo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 任正振's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. 42 minutes into the game, Pheonix FC's 任正振 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gavino Belarmo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The supporters of Pheonix FC booed when Metapalo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leif Broman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gavino Belarmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wolfgang Vesterø in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 任正振 made a kick off. Jacinto Baumar hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Pheonix FC's Marcel Militaru got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wolfgang Vesterø might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gavino Belarmo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wolfgang Vesterø ran back to his position shaking his head. After 58 minutes, Leonhard Askeby mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pheonix FC and the Metapalo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th match minute, Pheonix FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonhard Askeby to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Humberto Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The throw-in from Thodoris Aggelou in the 66th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Metapalo FC's Toto Fabri. Valentin Negroni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Tyge Oehlerich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Einer Therkelsen in the 68th minute of play forced Metapalo FC's goalkeeper Gavino Belarmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 played minutes Pheonix FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonhard Askeby. Humberto Rodrigues took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tyge Oehlerich. Pheonix FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 74th minute Marcel Militaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Belarmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gavino Belarmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Einer Therkelsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. If Valentin Negroni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gavino Belarmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wolfgang Vesterø in the 83rd minute of the match. Aparicio Junel made in the 87th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Thodoris Aggelou however managed to control. Dante Rafe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Tyge Oehlerich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Metapalo FC's Gavino Belarmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wolfgang Vesterø in the 95th minute of play. There was no doubt that Pheonix FC were the better team. Pheonix FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
