Lucho Gonzales hit a great ball. Metapalo FC's Gavino Belarmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Marchidan in the 12th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Metapalo FC's Dante Rafe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cláudio Taffarel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gavino Belarmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Obafuso, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Metapalo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Jatsu came free, but Gavino Belarmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Rafe struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Cláudio Taffarel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Metapalo FC. Gavino Belarmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Jatsu, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Severino Jatsu went to the cornerflag to take it. 48 minutes into the match, Severino Jatsu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gavino Belarmo. Metapalo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severino Jatsu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manuel Marchidan made a kick off. Valentin Negroni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Cláudio Taffarel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Manuel Marchidan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gavino Belarmo. Metapalo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manuel Marchidan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Lucho Gonzales kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. A hard shot 69 in the game by Manuel Marchidan from a close distance when the talented Gavino Belarmo managed to make a qualified save. Metapalo FC's players were relieved. Manuel Marchidan did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-5 to the left of a surprised Gavino Belarmo 70 minutes into the match. When Manuel Marchidan fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Racing Club【LBF】's protests and gave Manuel Marchidan a yellow card for diving instead. After 72 played minutes Racing Club【LBF】 got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Marchidan. Racing Club【LBF】's Jaime Cordero was substituted for Severino Jatsu. After 73 played minutes Racing Club【LBF】 got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Marchidan. 75 minutes into the match, Manuel Marchidan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gavino Belarmo. Metapalo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manuel Marchidan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Gavino Belarmo made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Emanuel Obafuso sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Racing Club【LBF】's goalkeeper Cláudio Taffarel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Metapalo FC's Gavino Belarmo got control of the ball when Emanuel Obafuso tried to sneak it across the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Metapalo FC's goalkeeper Gavino Belarmo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alejo Galoer. After 89 minutes Metapalo FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jeffrey Taverniers who took care of the corner kick. Gavino Belarmo made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Jaime Cordero sent off a good shot on target. The Metapalo FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Racing Club【LBF】 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
