The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Edvin van der Saar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Marchidan in the 3rd minute. In the 8th minute of the match, Manuel Marchidan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edvin van der Saar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tribos 4EVER's attentive Bruninho Breckenfeld managed to snatch the ball when Jeffrey Taverniers made a throw-in in the 9th minute of the game. With a little luck, Tribos 4EVER's Edvin van der Saar got control of the ball when Emanuel Obafuso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iwo Kalak hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Cláudio Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Gol in the 21st minute of the match. With his leg Edvin van der Saar managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Racing Club【LBF】's Emanuel Obafuso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Gustavo Gol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edvin van der Saar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Jatsu in the 35th minute of the match. Racing Club【LBF】's Cláudio Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Gol in the 38th minute of play. If Manuel Marchidan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gustavo Gol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Racing Club【LBF】's goalkeeper Cláudio Taffarel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Tribos 4EVER getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Iwo Kalak hit a great ball. Manuel Marchidan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edvin van der Saar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Gol in the 59th minute of play forced Racing Club【LBF】's goalkeeper Cláudio Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristiano Faria got free with Cláudio Taffarel in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Cristiano Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute, Severino Jatsu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edvin van der Saar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Marchidan in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd match minute, Tribos 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruninho Breckenfeld to maneuver through the defense. Bruninho Breckenfeld kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Edvin van der Saar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejo Galoer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustavo Gol took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cláudio Taffarel. Cláudio Taffarel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Gustavo Gol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Although Racing Club【LBF】 had been in control for most of the match, Tribos 4EVER still came away with the win.
