Spectators: 7488 (Terracing: 5617, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) Santo Amaro AC's Cipriano Hermes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hudson Arósio made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Severino Jatsu sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Santo Amaro AC's Hudson Arósio got control of the ball when Severino Jatsu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th minute Eduard Polozov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute Manuel Marchidan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hudson Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduard Polozov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Cláudio Taffarel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Lucho Gonzales hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wincent Pawlik, 14 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Hudson Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Marchidan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Wincent Pawlik fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santo Amaro AC's protests and gave Wincent Pawlik a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th minute, Manuel Marchidan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emanuel Obafuso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Hudson Arósio made a huge save. Severino Jatsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hudson Arósio having to interfere. Manuel Marchidan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Hudson Arósio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Marchidan in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hudson Arósio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Hudson Arósio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manuel Marchidan's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Ernani Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. With a little luck, Santo Amaro AC's Hudson Arósio got control of the ball when Emanuel Obafuso tried to sneak it across the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Wincent Pawlik got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cláudio Taffarel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manuel Marchidan made a kick off. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Santo Amaro AC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Severino Jatsu was slow to take the kick. During this time Racing Club【LBF】's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Racing Club【LBF】's Severino Jatsu to fire away a dangerous shot which Hudson Arósio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Hudson Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Jatsu, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Eduard Polozov kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cláudio Taffarel. That made the score 0-1 in the 55 minute of play. Santo Amaro AC's Hudson Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Marchidan in the 59th minute of play. Manuel Marchidan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hudson Arósio having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Cipriano Hermes could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Cláudio Taffarel however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Racing Club【LBF】's Sérgio Ramos got a free kick in the 91st minute. Cláudio Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Arósio in the 92nd minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Racing Club【LBF】's goalkeeper Cláudio Taffarel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cipriano Hermes. When Racing Club【LBF】's Manuel Marchidan in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Santo Amaro AC's goalie prevented a goal. The Santo Amaro AC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
