Gustavo Unai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dino Palmisano in the 4th minute of the match. 5 minutes into the game, Rubens Reis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BURITIS FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.S. Ian Fenomeni the free kick. In the 5th match minute, BURITIS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubens Reis to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo Unai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Palleschi in the 11th minute of the match. After 13 played minutes BURITIS FC got a freekick which was hit by Edson Azevedo. If Rodrigue Léonard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Vito da Mata fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BURITIS FC's protests and gave Vito da Mata a yellow card for diving instead. A.S. Ian Fenomeni made a substitution. Lucas-Ignacio Cunha replaced Ciro Palleschi. Dino Palmisano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by BURITIS FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dino Palmisano was slow to take the kick. During this time A.S. Ian Fenomeni's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Damiano De Santis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BURITIS FC's Gustavo Unai did a great save. Dino Palmisano struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Gustavo Unai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.S. Ian Fenomeni. Gustavo Unai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dino Palmisano's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. In the 35th minute of the match A.S. Ian Fenomeni got a corner. BURITIS FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dino Palmisano ran over to the corner to take the kick. A.S. Ian Fenomeni's Dino Palmisano was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gustavo Unai in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. BURITIS FC's Gustavo Unai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damiano De Santis in the 38th minute of play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of BURITIS FC's goalie and right to Dino Palmisano. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. BURITIS FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 41 minutes into the match, BURITIS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gani Pamirhan came free, but Gustavo Unai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavo Unai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Palmisano in the 44th minute of play. After 46 minutes, Agostinho Carneiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BURITIS FC and the A.S. Ian Fenomeni players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, BURITIS FC's Agostinho Carneiro got a free kick in the 48th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dino Palmisano to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in BURITIS FC's zone, Bart Ewen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Unai came out of the goal and Bart Ewen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Dino Palmisano managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.S. Ian Fenomeni's supporters rose to their feet, but Dino Palmisano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Unai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 57 minutes of play, A.S. Ian Fenomeni's Dino Palmisano made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gustavo Unai was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dino Palmisano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gustavo Unai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dino Palmisano in the 62nd minute of the match. After 63 minutes BURITIS FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dino Palmisano who took care of the corner kick. In the last second Gustavo Unai throw himself and got hold of the ball when Bart Ewen in the 64thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The supporters of BURITIS FC booed when A.S. Ian Fenomeni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigue Léonard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristiano Granata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dênis Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. BURITIS FC were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after A.S. Ian Fenomeni's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dênis Lara took the corner. After 70 played minutes BURITIS FC got a freekick which was hit by Penko Toninski. If Rodrigue Léonard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustavo Unai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Palmisano in the 72nd minute of play. BURITIS FC's Gustavo Unai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save BURITIS FC from getting a goal against them. In the 76th minute of the match, Dino Palmisano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gustavo Unai saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gustavo Unai didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bart Ewen went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 80th minute Rubens Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Granata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dino Palmisano in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustavo Unai saved BURITIS FC from getting behind. BURITIS FC's Gustavo Unai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino Palmisano in the 86th minute of play. In the 89th minute of the match, Dino Palmisano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gustavo Unai saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 94th match minute, BURITIS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernard Zielinski to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo Unai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dino Palmisano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
