Sagene IF's Glyn Wedlock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertil Albäck in the 9th minute of play. Glyn Wedlock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertil Albäck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bertil Albäck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Glyn Wedlock read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st match minute, Sagene IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Knutsen to maneuver through the defense. Bertil Albäck showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 36 minutes into the match, Bertil Albäck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Glyn Wedlock. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bertil Albäck was the one to do the kick off. Vencel Mezei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Óbolo in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 54thth minute of the game Bertil Albäck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sagene IF's Glyn Wedlock was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Sagene IF booed when Pénzügyőr SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ottó Takács didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 60 minutes, Ivan Óbolo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sagene IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan Óbolo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Sagene IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Glyn Wedlock should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sagene IF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pénzügyőr SE.
