The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Beto dos Santos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galo do Cerrado fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Vicente Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mor Vidlák in the 8th minute of play. Galo do Cerrado's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Severino Novaes in the 14th minute. Galo do Cerrado's Pedrinho da Silva was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Yao Yang Peng in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The long shot by Severino Novaes in the 16th minute really tested Yao Yang Peng's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Almantas Plungys got free with Yao Yang Peng in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 20 played minutes Galo do Cerrado got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Drewitz. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vidlákov SK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Severino Novaes was slow to take the kick. During this time Galo do Cerrado's players had a chance to rest. Severino Novaes made a great header on Galo do Cerrado's corner, it was just that Vidlákov SK's Yao Yang Peng managed to reach the ball for a save. Beto dos Santos took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yao Yang Peng. After a defensive mix-up in Galo do Cerrado's zone, Mor Vidlák stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Barbosa came out of the goal and Mor Vidlák tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Yao Yang Peng successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Johny Vidlák sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Wesley Richard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute Jiří Kalčík shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicente Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jiří Kalčík, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th match minute, Galo do Cerrado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Drewitz to maneuver through the defense.

In the 53rdth minute of the game Beto dos Santos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vidlákov SK's Yao Yang Peng was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Vidlákov SK's goal looked a bit too open when Almantas Plungys came free, but Yao Yang Peng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute Johny Vidlák shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beto dos Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yao Yang Peng read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. After 65 played minutes Vidlákov SK got a freekick which was hit by Mor Vidlák. Galo do Cerrado made a substitution. Jean-Yves Amand replaced Wesley Richard. A collision led to Vidlákov SK getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Mor Vidlák hit a great ball. Vicente Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miroslav Pavel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vidlákov SK's Yao Yang Peng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beto dos Santos in the 73rd minute of play. Vicente Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johny Vidlák in the 75th minute of the match. A collision led to Vidlákov SK getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Jiří Konvalinka hit a great ball. Vidlákov SK made a substitution. Boleslav Vavřina replaced Luděk Šturma. 83 minutes into the match, Galo do Cerrado's goalkeeper Vicente Barbosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jiří Kalčík. In the 92nd minute Galo do Cerrado were awarded a corner. Severino Novaes went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Severino Novaes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Yao Yang Peng quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Galo do Cerrado's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
