In the 8th minute of the match Elias Romo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vicente Barbosa skillfully saved the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Galo do Cerrado's goalkeeper Vicente Barbosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tobias Truylos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beto dos Santos in the 16th minute of play forced Terapia Intensiva's goalkeeper Otoniel Bonet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severino Novaes lost his temper 17 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Galo do Cerrado! Galo do Cerrado:s Vicente Barbosa showed great skill when he stopped Melquiades Beila:s penalty. Ivo Calado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Barbosa having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Terapia Intensiva's goal looked a bit too open when Beto dos Santos came free, but Otoniel Bonet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Drewitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Otoniel Bonet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Otoniel Bonet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beto dos Santos in the 30th minute of the match. Ivo Calado received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vicente Barbosa came out and tried to block the shot, but Ivo Calado slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute, Lucio Luix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beto dos Santos struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Otoniel Bonet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galo do Cerrado. Melquiades Beila could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Vicente Barbosa made a huge save. 36 minutes into the match, Galo do Cerrado's goalkeeper Vicente Barbosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivo Calado. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beto dos Santos in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Otoniel Bonet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Beto dos Santos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Otoniel Bonet was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ivo Calado was the one to do the kick off. Otoniel Bonet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beto dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vicente Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Fernanco, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute Terapia Intensiva were awarded a corner. Elias Romo went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, Galo do Cerrado's Sebastian Drewitz got a free kick in the 54th minute. Vicente Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Romo in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Beto dos Santos fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beto dos Santos in the 58th minute of play forced Terapia Intensiva's goalkeeper Otoniel Bonet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vicente Barbosa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ivo Calado went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Beto dos Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Otoniel Bonet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. The supporters of Terapia Intensiva booed when Galo do Cerrado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Almantas Plungys didn't get a good kick on the ball. Galo do Cerrado's Jean-Yves Amand was substituted for Wesley Richard. A collision led to Galo do Cerrado getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Almantas Plungys hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Beto dos Santos in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Otoniel Bonet saved Terapia Intensiva from getting behind. Otoniel Bonet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Peli in the 84th minute of the match. 84 minutes into the game, Melquiades Beila was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Terapia Intensiva's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galo do Cerrado the free kick. Melquiades Beila hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Terapia Intensiva's zone, Beto dos Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otoniel Bonet came out of the goal and Beto dos Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Otoniel Bonet was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Beto dos Santos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 88 minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Tobias Truylos threw the ball into play from the sideline. Galo do Cerrado's Claudinho Sá quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. For all the effort they put into the match, the Galo do Cerrado players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Terapia Intensiva.
