Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Beto dos Santos to make the kick off. Almantas Plungys made a great header on Galo do Cerrado's corner, it was just that Calatafimi Segesta's Armando Buinton managed to reach the ball for a save. Armando Buinton was a little too slow when Evelio Peli got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 1-2. Anthony Muzzatti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Vicente Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Galo do Cerrado could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Calatafimi Segesta throughout the match.
