With a little luck, Tasso FC's Silverio Corderun got control of the ball when Anthony Muzzatti tried to sneak it across the goal line. A throw-in in the 7th minute of the game was made by Dennis Di Placido with Francesco Pittelli as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Armando Buinton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldir Urbano in the 10th minute of the match. Ferdinando Aceto hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute of the match, Beppe Carrea tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Silverio Corderun saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Miguel Sequeira hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, Dennis Di Placido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 21 played minutes Tasso FC got a freekick which was hit by Waldir Urbano. Tasso FC's Silverio Corderun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Tasso FC from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Anthony Muzzatti kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Silverio Corderun. That made the score 2-0 in the 26 minute of play. Silverio Corderun made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Ferdinando Aceto sent off a good shot on target. Silverio Corderun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthony Muzzatti, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anthony Muzzatti in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silverio Corderun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anthony Muzzatti to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Tasso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Concetto Spione came free, but Silverio Corderun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Calatafimi Segesta booed when Tasso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldir Urbano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute Anthony Muzzatti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Corderun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Concetto Spione cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Silverio Corderun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 76 played minutes Tasso FC got a freekick which was hit by Severi Nybacka. When León Zambrano fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tasso FC's protests and gave León Zambrano a yellow card for diving instead. Normando Fiúza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cesare Berardi made in the 85th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Comunardo Monticelli. Silverio Corderun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthony Muzzatti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Calatafimi Segesta's Donato Scalabrino got a free kick in the 89th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Normando Fiúza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tasso FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Normando Fiúza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Buinton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th minute, Juca Tasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Calatafimi Segesta fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tasso FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
