The audience was convinced that Belarmino Viejo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silas Carneiro was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Club Deportivo Polonia's zone, Giuseppe Leão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelino Barba came out of the goal and Giuseppe Leão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 14 played minutes Club Deportivo Polonia got a freekick which was hit by Dolfo Durango. Flamengo FSCMZ's Silas Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquilino Velazquez in the 22nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute Aquilino Velazquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silas Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flamengo FSCMZ's Silas Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurino Esperta in the 34th minute of play. Aquiles Leonidas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelino Barba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Angelino Barba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquiles Leonidas in the 71st minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Belarmino Viejo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Deportivo Polonia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Angelino Barba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquiles Leonidas in the 87th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Flamengo FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Maurino Esperta came free, but Silas Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 minutes of play, Club Deportivo Polonia's Maurino Esperta made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silas Carneiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Club Deportivo Polonia walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
